Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003
Although a majority of the recently enacted legislation concerning Medicare is dedicated to prescription drug benefits for seniors, a number of provisions concern administrative and contractor reform that should benefit most Medicare providers. The following explanation highlights a number of the more useful reforms contained in the new legislation. Also included with each explanation is the date the provision becomes effective.
