Editor's Welcome,
Today we will discuss Medicare's new diabetes screening benefit. This new benefit complements the cardiovascular screening and "Welcome to Medicare" physical examination covered in previous briefings. Details on all of these preventive services may be found in the 2005 Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule.
