Editor's Welcome: In a just released update, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends against screening for prostate cancer in men age 75 years or older. While this new recommendation may have limited immediate effect on PSA testing, USPSTF recommendations often shape future coverage policy for both government and non-government payers as well as the practice patterns of primary care physicians.
