The American Medical Association (AMA) has published the 2011 CPT. Today, we will review the new, revised, and deleted codes that may be used by providers of radiology and imaging services. The 2011 CPT includes five new codes and five revised codes in the Radiology section. In addition, the AMA deleted eight CPT codes from the same section. Please remember that all of the changes discussed below will be explained and incorporated into our 2011 CodeMap® Medicare Reimbursement Manual for Radiology.
