One of the more important provisions of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 is the removal of barriers to preventive care. Along with eliminating most co-insurance and deductibles for preventive services, Medicare will now cover an annual "wellness visit" for all Medicare beneficiaries. Today, we will discuss the coverage, coding, and reimbursement implications of this new Medicare benefit.
