Welcome to the last CodeMap® Compliance Briefing of 2011. As the year ends, we are considering many unanswered questions concerning Medicare coding, reimbursement, and compliance that may finally be resolved in 2012. At least, we would like to see resolution in 2012 for many of the following issues we are about to discuss. Unfortunately, it is anybody's guess whether CMS, OIG, and other associated agencies will finally act to answer some of the questions we believe are critically important.
