Many of our subscribers work in laboratories, which perform Genomic Sequencing Procedures or GSPs. These panels are also referred to as Next Generation Sequencing or NGS. The coding and resultant Medicare reimbursement for these procedures raises some interesting compliance issues. Over the next 2 weeks we will discuss the coding rules that apply to GSP panels.
